Newborn sessions are all about your beautiful precious little baby and I am committed to capturing intimate photos that will tug at your heart for many years to come, photos that will continually give you pure enjoyment, photos that will be a beautiful reminder of the start of your child’s life journey.
As a mum, I understand after the birth of a new baby you are exhausted; your hormones are going crazy, and you are trying to settle in and establish a routine with your new family member, so my newborn photos are done where you are most comfortable, in the privacy and comfort of your home. Here, everything you need is at your fingertips, here you can be yourself and relax. In your own home, older siblings can happily be part of the shoot and or go and play with their toys if they get bored. I don’t rush baby photos, I don’t put a time limit on you, I will take as much time as is needed to get those beautiful photos you are wanting. We can work around you, and your little baby’s needs, feed and sleep times.
Please don’t think your home is not good enough or is too messy. I am a mother and my home is as it should be, lived in. I live on the land and we all know how hard it is to keep dust out. I am not there to judge you or your home, I can easily push the washing basket aside.
Often baby photos are taken in the master bedroom, the nursery or your living area. When I arrive, we can have a look at the best lighting and find an area that will give you the best photos. A lot of the photos will be taken as you cuddle or feed your baby, as you just get on with being a mum and dad, just living your normal day. I will bring special photography equipment that assists with your baby photos..
Baby photography is one of the greatest jobs in the world and being able to hold and cuddle sweet little miracles is heaven. Your baby’s needs, your baby’s safety and your needs will always be my number one priority.
I would be humbled to capture these special moments that pass all too quickly. I haven’t met a family yet who regretted having a baby photo session.
