Like everyone else I take photos of my family on my iPhone, these photos can sit for years in the cloud, never looked at again. Taking photos of yourself can be fun, but the results are often far from what you may be hoping for. Although it’s great to have these photos, they just don’t compare to the luxurious look of professional photos. Professional photos are not ‘just’ photos but works of art that you can proudly hang on your wall and look at time and time again.
As a mum I truly know how busy life is and as ‘cliché’ as it sounds, before you know it your children do go from being a cute little babies to independent busy young adults. They grow so quick! We often forget to stop and appreciate the now, those special moments that become your past. Photographs help you remember everything!
How many photos do you have of you and your children? I’m sure I am not the only mum who gets stuck behind the camera, taking photos of my family. Looking through our albums, you could seriously think that my children don’t have a mum at all. Occasionally at my request, my husband may take a rare photo of our children, with me in it. These are normally blurred, someone is half cut out of the shot, there is bad lighting, or the angle taken of me, well it’s just not flattering. It’s very rare that we get a decent ‘whole’ family picture. If this sounds like your family, I can help you!

I make sure that a family photo shoot really is enjoyable for the whole family. Even the dads that at times turn up a little bit reluctant, end up relaxing and join in the fun. It’s not just parents and children that can join in a family session, but grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. A photo shoot is a beautiful excuse to get everyone together to create forever memories, before they are lost forever.
Life goes on and sadly unfortunate things happen, children grow up and move away, so stop saying "we'll do it next year," "we're too busy" or "we'll get around to it.” Just book! Princesses or Cowboys and Indians
As an extra to your family session I offer a Princess and/or Cowboy and Indian Package. This package is suitable for children under the age of 10 years. After your family session and a quick change, I take photos of your children dressed as a princess, cowboy or Indian. I supply all the Princess dresses and accessories and supply the Cowboy and Indian accessories and props.
